Microcurrent Facial

Microcurrent Facial

90 mins, £50

A Microcurrent facial addresses signs of aging by using pre set and timed variable wave forms of electrical currents.

This treatment works on the facial muscles rather than on the skin.

Facial muscles are manipulated through the use of two probes; one positively charged, and the other negatively charged.  When both probes are in contact with the "skin", a current flows through the muscle stimulating the muscle fibres to contract.  Muscle fibres can be shortened or relaxed depending on the position of the facial muscle.

It is a treatment designed to help lift sagging muscles in the jaw, neck and face whilst reducing and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles however, the benefits of a Microcurrent facial go beyond lifting, toning and contouring the facial muscles: it also boosts circulation, improves penetration of skincare products, aids lymphatic drainage and stimulates cellular turnover which includes healing and the production of collagen and elastin.

Specific contraindications to Microcurrent facial treatment.
